Welcome to the Government Procurement Dynamic Marketplace

The Government is committed to making it easier for suppliers, including small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs), to do business with Government Departments and has created the Dynamic Marketplace.

For procurements below the EU threshold and where the complexity is low, the Dynamic Marketplace gives Government Departments, their Agencies and NDPBs immediate, online access to a simple Request for Quote (RFQ) tool and pre-registered suppliers. This will enable Departments to carry out spot buy procurement for those goods and services that do not fit well in a catalogue, but are not complex enough to warrant the use of a specialist eSourcing tool.

Why Should Suppliers Register?

By registering on the Dynamic Marketplace, suppliers will be able to bid for opportunities that fit with their capability and their delivery locations.

Once registered, suppliers will use the Dynamic Marketplace to respond electronically to invitations to quote and process any successful bids through order to invoice.

Registration is free although suppliers will require a DUNS Number, which is also free to obtain. Please note that the Government will be investigating the possibility of a single registration process for the Dynamic Marketplace and Contracts Finder – the central database hosting all government opportunities and contract awards over £10,000. In the meantime, suppliers must continue to register on both systems.
